Kozhikode: In alignment with World Wetlands Day, Holy Cross College has officially launched a comprehensive wetland survey initiative. This program is being conducted as part of the ‘Paristhithikam’ project, an environmental awareness scheme under the State Directorate of Environment and Climate Change.
The survey is a collaborative effort led by the college’s Social Work Department and the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit. The primary objective of the survey is to scientifically document the current state of local wetlands, assess their biodiversity, observe the impact of human intervention, and identify possibilities for future conservation.
