Department Overview

The Department of Hotel Management was initiated in 2001 with Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology in an attempt to calibrate the institutional progress towards professional development and career perspectives. In 2004 the department upgraded itself through NIOS affiliation and spearheaded transformational infrastructural facilities to aid the skill-oriented crafts of the students. In 2008 the department achieved another milestone in its professional and academic circle by being progressively affiliated to the University of Calicut. Today the department has grown in quality and quantity and offers graduation in Hotel Management and Catering science alongside the Diploma Courses. The expanding career prospects in the Hotel Management and its adhesive specialisations have a promisingly productive professional assurance and a space for innovative experimentations for the students, thereby opening high profile opportunities inside and outside the country.
