Malayalam Vedhi (Ektha Club)
Malayalavedhi, established in June 2013, was created to provide a platform for students to explore language, culture, and social changes. Initially focused on developing students’ linguistic abilities and familiarizing them with influential figures both nationally and globally, the club aimed to enhance language skills and cultural understanding. In 2021, the club was renamed EKTHA to better reflect its expanded mission of coordinating activities across multiple languages offered by the college, including English, Hindi, Malayalam, German, and French.
EKTHA now serves as a dynamic forum for student enrichment, conducting regular meetings, programs, debates, and open forums on a wide range of topics. These activities not only deepen students’ knowledge of different languages and cultures but also foster critical thinking, communication skills, and a greater appreciation for global perspectives. By integrating various linguistic and cultural elements, EKTHA supports a comprehensive learning experience and encourages students to engage actively with diverse cultural and linguistic communities.
