Anti – Sexual Harassment Cell

As per the guidelines of UGC, NAAC and the Supreme Court an Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell was established in Holy Cross Institute of Mangement and Technology with an aim to provide a healthy and congenial atmosphere to the staff and students of the College. The members of the Cell comprises the principal, a legal advisor, two staff representatives and two student representatives. The cell deals with the concerns regarding sexual harassment or discrimination of staff and students. The Cells operates as an effective grievance redressal mechanism which can be used when necessary.

Objectives

To develop a gender neutral environment in the campus
To deal with any issues of discrimination and sexual harassment in a time bound manner
To provide proper counseling and support services for students in the campus
To conduct sexual awareness and gender sensitization programmes in the college.
To ensure that an effective redressal system is established and the students are made aware of the system.
