Red Ribbon Club

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC)  is a key platform for raising HIV/AIDS awareness and providing a supportive environment for students to discuss and clarify misconceptions about the disease. Through peer-to-peer education, the club ensures that students have access to accurate information, helping to dispel myths surrounding HIV/AIDS. The RRC also promotes voluntary blood donation, organizing regular drives to encourage youth participation in this vital cause.

The club’s exceptional efforts have been recognized with the Best Performing Red Ribbon Club Award from the Kerala State AIDS Control Society for three consecutive years (2017-2020). This prestigious award highlights the RRC’s significant contributions to public health and its impact on the community. In addition to its core activities, the RRC organizes workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns in collaboration with local health organizations and NGOs. These initiatives provide students with valuable knowledge and empower them to take on leadership roles in promoting health and well-being, both within the college and in the wider community.
