The Department of Social Work in collaboration with Bachpan Bachaao Andolan had organised a workshop on child labour on 17th January 2024. The programme intended to strengthen the capacity of the students in terms of understanding, identification and documentation of child labour, awareness raising and implementation of case management to address child labour. The session was handled by Mr. Praseen Kunnampalli, state coordinator BBA, a frontline anti-tracffiking and anti slavery grassroots movement in India, founded by Nobel Peace Laureate Kaliash Satyarthi in 1980.
