The Women Development Cell (WDC) organized self-defense training session designed to equip students with essential safety and defense skills. The session was led by Ms. Sheena P, Assistant Sub-Inspector, and Ms. Raseena, Senior Civil Police Officer (SCPO), both from the Kerala Police Training Team.  The session enabled the students to learn variety of practical self-defense techniques, including how to respond to different forms of physical threats and assaults. The instructors provided hands-on demonstrations, allowing students to practice defensive maneuvers in a controlled environment. In addition to physical techniques, the session covered critical aspects of mental preparedness, situational awareness, and confidence-building, ensuring that participants felt more secure and capable in managing risky situations. The training fostered a sense of empowerment among the students, enabling them to feel more confident about their ability to protect themselves. Many students expressed that the skills they acquired would not only enhance their personal safety but also boost their self-esteem and independence. Overall, the session served as a valuable tool for the holistic development of the students, reinforcing the importance of self-reliance and resilience in everyday life.
