
Kozhikode: In an effort to foster democratic values and social responsibility among the youth, Holy Cross College recently organized a notable Mock Parliament session titled ‘Puthulaharikku Oru Vote’ (A Vote for New Intoxication/Passion). The event was held under the guidance of the District Administration and saw active participation from the student body.

The primary objective of the session was to convey the importance of democratic participation and to promote a drug-free, healthy lifestyle for a better future. By simulating a parliamentary environment, students were given a platform to discuss and understand the legislative processes that shape our society.
Key Highlights
The ceremony commenced with an inaugural address by the College Principal, Dr. Sr. Shiny George, who also administered the Election Pledge to the students, emphasizing the duty of every citizen to vote ethically.
