The Department of Social Work in collaboration with District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Calicut had organised a Life Skill training interactive workshop on 11th January 2023. The programme was inaugrated by Dr. Sr. Shiny George, Principal HCIMT. The session was handled by Mr. Abdul Gafoor P (ORC, Project Assistance, DCPU Kozhikode), Mr. Shibin A P (Protection Officer, Non institutional Care, DCPU Kozhikode). The workshop aimed in fostering self-awareness, encouraging individuals to understand their strengths, weaknesses and values. Developing effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, was also another key objective, as it plays a crucial role in personal relationships and professional success. Additionally, the workshop focused on building emotional intelligence, helping participants manage stress, cope with challenges, and cultivate resilience.
