The International Yoga Day celebration organized by the Department of Physical Education in association with NSS at HCIMT was a holistic tribute to the ancient practice of yoga, held on June 21st. Titled “EKAM SATHYAM”, the event integrated music therapy and dance moves into the yoga session, aiming to emphasize the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life for overall well-being. Participants engaged in various yoga poses and sequences that promote physical strength, flexibility, and mental relaxation. The program highlighted the holistic health advantages of yoga, including stress reduction, improved concentration, and emotional balance. By blending music therapy and dance moves with traditional yoga practices, “EKAM SATHYAM” not only celebrated International Yoga Day but also encouraged participants to experience the transformative benefits of yoga in a dynamic and engaging way.
