Holy Cross Institute of Management and Technology (HCIMT), in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Calicut University, has successfully completed its first housing project under the ‘Sneham’ Bhavan initiative. The project reached a heartwarming conclusion with the official key handover ceremony held at the college.

The house was constructed for Mr. M.M. Jacob (Manikombel), a resident of Vilangad who tragically lost his home in a natural disaster. This initiative marks the first successful realization of the university-level ‘Sneham’ housing project.

  • Official Handover: The ceremonial key was handed over to the beneficiary by Prof. Dr. P. Raveendran, Vice-Chancellor of Calicut University, and Sr. Julie Augustine, Mother Superior of Holy Cross Convent.

  • Project Scale: The residence was built with an investment exceeding 15 Lakhs, funded through the joint leadership of the Holy Cross College Management and the College NSS Unit.
