Holy Cross Institute of Management and Technology, in collaboration with the Student Police Cadets (SPC), proudly hosted the local chapter of the prestigious World Quizzing Championship. Organized globally by the London-based International Quizzing Association (IQA) to find the ultimate world quiz champion, the massive competition featured over a hundred venues worldwide, including around 16 venues across India.

The Kozhikode leg of this prestigious event took place at our campus, drawing nearly a hundred diverse participants from across Kerala, including doctors, professors, school students, and college pupils.

• Inauguration: The official event was inaugurated by Deputy Police Commissioner Padam Singh, who delivered an inspiring opening address

• Key Speakers: Holy Cross College Principal Dr. Sister Shiny George, Quiz Club Coordinator Arjun, and IQA Kerala PRO Rasin Anwar spoke at the event, emphasizing the importance of intellectual curiosity and global knowledge networks.

• The Competition: The grueling event consisted of a comprehensive 3-hour written examination designed to test the limits of general knowledge and critical thinking.
