Celebrating the Spirit of Womanhood and Equality
In a vibrant tribute to International Women’s Day, the NSS Unit and the Women’s Development Cell of Holy Cross Institute of Management and Technology organized a series of impactful programs centered around the theme of women’s empowerment.
The highlight of the celebration was the ‘Sandeshamaram’ (Message Tree), where students displayed powerful messages advocating for gender equality, self-confidence, and the rights of women. This creative installation served as a visual testament to the collective voice of our students in fostering a more inclusive society.
Highlights of the Event:
-
Creative Expressions: Students engaged in face painting and poster making to creatively communicate messages of strength and resilience.
-
Inauguration: The events were officially inaugurated by our Principal, Dr. Sr. Shiny George, who emphasized the importance of women’s leadership and self-reliance.
-
Cultural & Interactive Sessions: The celebration featured spirited dance performances and a competitive quiz, engaging the entire campus community in the spirit of the day.
-
Leadership: The program was coordinated under the guidance of Nodal Officer Roshni Prashanth, NSS Program Officer Lijo Jose, Women’s Development Cell Coordinator Deepa Subrahmanian, and Physical Education Director Karthik A.S.
We take immense pride in our students—including Sona Jones, Alan George, Karthik Manoj, and many others—who took the lead in making this event a grand success. At HCIMT, we remain committed to nurturing an environment where every individual is empowered to reach their full potential.
