The programme seeks to raise public consciousness about childhood cancer, emphasizing the importance of early diagnosis, proper medical care, and emotional support for children and their families. Volunteers from the NSS Unit will actively participate in spreading awareness through interactive sessions, informative speeches, and distributing pamphlets with vital information about cancer symptoms, treatments, and available resources for those in need. At Mananchira , the programme will kick off with a public rally involving students, faculty, and volunteers, marching through the streets to draw attention to the cause. The event was then move to Kozhikode Beach, where a larger gathering will take place. In addition to raising awareness, this segment will feature engaging activities such as street plays, poster exhibitions, and candle-light vigils to honor young cancer survivors and remember those who lost their battle. Local community members, tourists, and beachgoers will be encouraged to join in these activities, making the event an inclusive effort to foster understanding and compassion. By bringing the programme to such prominent public spaces, the NSS Unit and the Child Cancer Care Foundation aim to make a tangible impact, ensuring that the message of early detection, empathy, and support reaches a wide audience in Kozhikode.
