Kozhikode: A book launch and literary seminar titled ‘Pranayapoorvam…’ was recently held at the Holy Cross Institute of Management and Technology (IMT). The event was organized by TBS Books and Poorna Publications in association with the college’s Bodhi Readers Club and Ekata Club.
The event took place on February 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Sister S. Vogel Memorial Seminar Hall. Renowned poet Dr. Soman Kadaloor graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Inauguration: College Principal, Dr. Sr. Shiny George, presided over the function and officially released the books. Vice-Principal Dr. Martin Bernard also addressed the gathering.
About the Chief Guest:
Dr. Soman Kadaloor, born in 1970 in Kadaloor, Kozhikode, is a distinguished academic and literary figure. He holds a Master’s degree in Folklore (First Rank) and a Ph.D. from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit. A recipient of the Kerala Folklore Academy Award, he currently serves as a faculty member at JNM Government Higher Secondary School, Puthuppanam.
