We’re incredibly proud to announce the successful conclusion of our Anti-Drugs Seminar, “Empowered Choices,” held on June 26th, International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking!
A huge thank you to our esteemed Resource Person, Mr. A. J. JOHNSON, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Traffic South Kozhikode city, for his insightful session. His address emphasized the crucial role of making informed, confident decisions to combat drug abuse.
We also extend our gratitude to Dr. Sr. SHINY GEORGE, Principal, Mr. JOBI MATHEW, NSS Programe Officer, and Mr. MAAZIN ARIF, ANC Student Coordinator, for their valuable contributions.
The seminar, organized by the Department of Physical Education and the Anti-Narcotics Club of Holy Cross Institute of Management & Technology (HCIMT), aimed to educate and inspire college students to take a stand against substance abuse. Through engaging discussions and real-life insights, we dismantled myths and highlighted the long-term impact on mental, physical, and social well-being.
