Holy Cross College recently joined the global movement to end violence against women through the ‘Orange the World’ campaign. Organized by the college’s NSS unit, the initiative aimed to raise social awareness and advocate for the protection of girls and women in our community.
The event was officially flagged off by our Principal, Dr. Sr. Shiny George. Following the inauguration, NSS volunteers led a spirited door-to-door awareness drive in the New Stand area, engaging with the public to spread messages of safety and empowerment.
The campaign was visually marked by students carrying orange balloons, placards, and banners focused on student security. Key contributions were made by NSS Program Officers Lijo Joseph and Joby Mathew, alongside student leaders Karthik Manoj, Anirudh P., Sona John, and Fathima Hamna.
