The Department of English was introduced in the year 2012 and offered BA English Language and Literature programme. The department was upgraded with an MA English Language and Literature programme in 2015. The department stands as a reliable centre for quality higher learning at affordable cost. 'Friends of a family' feeling is a unique prerogative of the staff and students of the department. Proper mentor system, class tutorship system and counselling help to maintain a rapport between the faculty, the students, and the parents.
