International Youth Day is observed on 12th August 2023. The theme of the day for this year is "Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World". As part of International Youth Day observance, the Department of Social Work organised a Clean-up Drive at Calicut beach on 9 th August, 2023. The chief guest for the programme was Mr Shafi, the Sub Inspector of Town Police Station.
