The department of Hotel Management organised a Pastry Making  Workshop on 11th July, 2023. The workshop was handles by Ms. Diya Veerachandran, alumni HCIMT and currently working as commi 2 CROWN PLAZA, Chennai. The programme intended on preparing students to be baking and pastry professionals through hands-on experience and the development of competency based skills while emphasizing management and creativity. Advanced classical and contemporary pastry and confectionery techniques in the planning, development, execution, and evaluation of products, menus, and creative presentations were the highlights of the programme.
