Hospitality industry is a dynamic industry which demands young, energetic and trained professionals to suit its global demand. Said to be the oldest commercial endeavour known to mankind it is the single largest industry which employs over 112 million people globally. This is a multi disciplinary skill oriented professional industry where young people have lots of growth opportunities. Industrial Exposure Training
Each student has to undergo Industrial Exposure Training for 22 weeks in the following departments of any Hotel of national or global repute.
1. F & B Production - 16 weeks
2. F & B Service - 2 weeks
3. Front Office - 2 weeks
4. Housekeeping - 2 weeks
Training may start from 1st week of November of the academic year soon after Semester V examinations. Students shall be reporting to the college by first week of April for regular classes for VI Semester. The examination will commence form 4th week of May.
After the completion of training the students shall submit an industrial exposure training report within two weeks time. This Report shall carry two hundred and fifty marks.
IX. Project Report
Each student has to make a project report on relevant topic related to hospitality industry. This Report shall also carry two hundred marks.
The Student should also carry the following during Viva Voce by the External Examiner:
